Pipeline Data for the Gulf of Mexico

NOTE: The segments with Nos. in the 500XXX range are located in State waters and we do not have some of the information including pipeline length. As for the other segments with regular MMS segment No. in the 10XXX range, for the most part, we assigned a SN when it was determined that an existing pipeline did not have one. This is a very old field and information is not available. Alex Alvarado, MMS Chief Pipeline Section.
Field (Abbreviated) Name Description
Origin Area/Block The Area Code and designated OCS Block Number where the pipeline originates.
Origin Lease No. The number used to identify the minerals lease where a pipeline originates.
Destination Area/Block The Area Code and designated OCS Block Number where the pipeline segment terminates.
Destination Lease No. The number used to identify the mineral lease where a pipeline segment terminates.
Segment Number The number assigned by MMS to each pipeline segment for purpose of internal identification.
